One of my favorite illustration and packaging projects was for the Baby Alive Crib Life series — a new line of baby dolls created for the more mature, more style-savvy audience, tween girls! The Baby Alive: Crib Life line included the Tokyo Trendy Collection and the original Fashion Play Doll, each packed with personality and style. This now-rare collection quickly became a coveted gem among toy collectors.

Each Crib Life doll was designed with a unique personality and style, brought to life through distinct packaging themes. Sarina, the preppy princess, loved sparkles and makeup, while her twin Sydney, the grunge rocker, was all about hoodies and beanies. Lily, the youngest of the group, was a curious bookworm with a love for learning. Hailey, the chill island girl with a pet monkey, was often mistaken for Lulu, the sporty soccer star who also loved the beach. Makayla, a sunflower spirit with a love for her guitar and world peace. And Ella, the musical prodigy, could play nearly every instrument. Each character’s world came to life across packaging, advertising, and digital media.
